- what is 67?
67 is an app blocker for iphone. you pick the app you can't stop opening, and 67 blocks it.
to get past the block, you do the 6-7 hand gesture at the camera ten times. then 67 asks if you still want to scroll. yes unblocks the app for 5 minutes, and the block comes back by itself. no leaves it blocked.
- how do i do the reps?
prop your phone up and step back, so the front camera can see both hands. palms up, one hand up as the other goes down. keep switching.
it's quick, and slightly annoying on purpose.
- do i have to do it in public?
if that's where you open the app, yes. it looks a bit silly, and it's a little embarrassing.
that's part of why it works. you think twice before you open the app.
- how does it help me stop doomscrolling?
most doomscrolling starts without a decision. 67 puts a small, pointless task between you and the app, then asks “still wanna scroll?”
sometimes the answer is no. if it's yes, you get 5 minutes.
- which apps can it block?
the ones you pick: instagram, tiktok, youtube, or whatever you scroll.
67 blocks one app for free. 67+ blocks unlimited apps, plus categories and websites.
- how is it different from a screen time limit?
a screen time limit can be dismissed with one tap on “ignore limit”. 67 has no button like that.
every unlock takes ten reps. pausing the block, or taking an app off the list, takes ten reps too. with 67+ you can lock your rules for a set time, and every unlock then takes sixty-seven.
- is 67 free?
yes. one blocked app and the full core loop are free, forever. no ads, no account.
67+ is $29.99 a year or $4.99 a month, for people who need more apps blocked or stricter rules.
- does the camera record me?
no. the camera only counts reps. camera frames are processed on your phone, and they aren't saved or uploaded.
- is there an android version?
not yet. 67 is ios only for now. android is coming. stay tuned.
- what happens when 67+ ends?
you go back to free. everything you already blocked stays blocked, but you can't add to the list, and if you edit it, it has to fit the free limit of one app.
a locked in that is already running continues until its time is up. after that, locked in is no longer available.
the core loop stays the same. it was always free.
- can i cancel?
yes, anytime. 67+ is an apple subscription, so you cancel in apple's subscription settings: settings, your name, subscriptions.
you keep 67+ until the end of the period you paid for. deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
- why no lifetime?
67+ is a subscription only. monthly or yearly.
we keep it to two prices so it stays simple. you can cancel whenever you no longer need it.
- what does locked in actually stop me from doing?
you pick how long: 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, or until morning. then:
- you can't pause the block.
- you can't remove anything from the list.
- every unlock takes sixty-seven reps instead of ten.
- apps unlock one at a time. the exception is an app blocked through a category or a website: unlocking it opens everything for 5 minutes.
- you can't delete any app on the phone, including 67.
- you can extend it, but you can't shorten or undo it until the time is up.
- can i buy 67+ here?
no. 67 is ios only, and 67+ is bought inside the app through apple.
